The City of Kigali discussed with Companies on youth employability & Upcoming Job Net
Last week the City of Kigali through its Kigali Employment Service Centre hold a meeting with stakeholders to discuss the upcoming Job fair that is expected to take place on April 26, 2018.
In his opening remarks, Mr Vianney Mugabo, the Acting Executive Secretary of the City of Kigali urged the Employers to give a chance to Job Seekers to get internships, part time or permanent jobs
Representatives from the Ministry of Public service and Labour and the Ministry of Youth insisted on volunteerism as a way of helping Rwandan youth especially fresh graduates (job seekers) to get the much needed hands on skills
An official from DOT Rwanda elaborated on their model of volunteerism that is proving helpful to Rwandan Youth.
Over 100 companies and 2000 Job seekers are expected to attend this annual event organized by the City of Kigali through Kigali Employment Service Centre in collaboration with RDB, MIFOTRA and PSF.
